I am using an iPhone 14 and thinking of switching directly to an iPhone 17.

Honestly, if the camera quality upgrade news is true, I might finally replace my DSLR for casual shoots with the iPhone 17.

Again, the biggest change will be the price tag of the iPhone.

I don’t know why people are crazy for iPhone, Android is best in terms of saving money as well as data.

Every year, I promise myself that i’ll not upgrade my iPhone, but then Apple traps me by dropping new features.

No, @IslaVoss it’s not going to be foldable. But for sure, it will fold our bank accounts in half. hahaah

Take my money, but give me the latest iPhone!!! I know you all call me crazy, but still I want the iPhone.

There are rumors that iPhone 17 is going to be foldable. Is there anyone who can confirm this news?

To be honest, I do not care what it would cost; my old iPhone is basically a potato now, which needs to be changed.

So… are we all actually ready for Apple to convince us we need another new camera lens?

Hi,

Is there any software that can access LTO tapes in RAW mode? I’ve searched online but haven’t found much information.

For example, data recovery companies that work with damaged or formatted LTO tapes must use some generic software to recover the data.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Regards,

I have a 6TB Quantum LTO-7 tape that I’ve been trying to recover. I can read it using cat /dev/nst0 > tape, but it fails with an input/output error about halfway through.

What tools or methods can I use to copy the tape? Is there a ddrescue-like program for tapes that can skip bad blocks and continue reading? I’ve already tried using a different drive, but it stops at the same bad block.
