How to Fix the Greyed Out “Extend Volume” Option in Disk Management?

I’m trying to extend a partition on my Windows system using Disk Management, but the “Extend Volume” option is greyed out and unavailable. I’ve checked, and there is unallocated space on the drive, but I still can’t extend the volume.
