Unable to Read SD Card

I’m having an issue with my SD card. When I try to access it, I get an error message saying “SD card is damaged” or “Unable to read SD card.” I’ve tried using it on different devices, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this before? What troubleshooting steps should I try first to fix this? Also, is there any way to recover the files on the card, or am I out of luck?

If your SD card is showing an error like “damaged” or “unable to read,” there are a few things you can try. First, test the card on a different device or use another card reader to rule out issues with your current setup.
If the card still isn’t working, try using a file recovery tool like Photorec or Stellar to recover your data. You can also run a disk check (like CHKDSK on Windows) to scan for errors on the card. If these steps don’t work, you might have to format the SD card, but be aware that this will erase all data on it. In case the card is physically damaged, recovery may be more difficult or impossible without professional help.
