How to Fix wdfilter.sys Blue Screen of Death Error on Windows?
Hi all,
I’ve recently started getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on my Windows PC, and the error points to wdfilter.sys. It seems to happen randomly, sometimes while I’m working, other times during startup.
I’ve tried basic troubleshooting like restarting, but the issue keeps coming back. From what I’ve read, it might be related to drivers or corrupted system files.
Has anyone experienced this before?
What usually causes the wdfilter.sys BSOD?
Are there specific drivers or updates I should check?
What steps can I take to fix or prevent this from happening again?
Any detailed help or fixes would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
