Can I use any free software available online?

It depends on 2 things, one is the quality of software. A reputable software tries to repair the video without re-encoding it and the second is the degree of damage, if re- encoding is required then it may reduce some quality of the media.

Will the software reduce the quality of my media?

It’s just a short video in working condition from the same media/SD card, it helps the software to understand the right video structure.

What’s Healthy Sample?

It’s called shortened files and yes it can also be recovered, some software companies advertise it as the special feature of their product. Note- You need to provide a healthy sample of video from that SD card

I pulled my SD card from my camera without using the ejecting option and the video is not showing up, can we also recover that?

Don’t worry, this is a very common corruption sign and yes it can be fixed by the software. The software tries to fix the corrupted frames and codes.

Sometimes my video freezes on one frame, can you also tell me what’s that or can it be fixed?

Okay, in technical term’s it’s called desynchronization. Yes, the software also helps in repairing that too. it will try to synchronize it.

One of my videos is playing but the sound is not matching with the visual, can your software also repair it?

Fortunately yes, there is a chance to play it, you can use a video repair software. It will try to rebuild the file which can be played.

I don’t know why my video is not playing at all. Is it lost? Is there any chance to recover or play it again?

There’s a good chance your files can be recovered since you haven’t used the drive. Try a photo recovery tool like Stellar or Photorec; they’re pretty user-friendly. Just don’t save anything new to that drive. If that doesn’t work, a data recovery service can still help.

You might love the Sony A7C III or Nikon Z6 II—both are compact, great for travel, and versatile enough for landscapes, portraits, and auroras. Add a tripod and you’re set!
A 24-70mm f/4 lens is useful for everyday use, while a wide-angle lens like a 16-35mm is perfect for landscapes and night skies.
