Windows 11: “Your PIN is no longer available” – Need Help
When I turn on my Windows 11 PC, I get this message:
“Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device.”
I can’t log in or reset the PIN. I didn’t change any settings. I use a local account.
Tried restarting, Safe Mode, and resetting the PIN—nothing works.
Any simple fix for this without resetting the whole PC?
Thanks.

Deleting the Ngc folder removes your PIN and may disable fingerprint or face login. It won’t affect your password. You can still log in with your password and set up a new PIN later.
