USB device not recognized
I’m running into an issue where my computer keeps displaying a ‘USB device not recognized’ error whenever I try to plug in any USB device. I’ve tried the usual fixes like restarting my computer, switching USB ports, and updating/reinstalling the drivers, but nothing seems to help. I’ve also tried different USB devices, and the issue persists with all of them. I’ve checked for system updates and tried using a different cable, but still no luck. Has anyone experienced this problem before, and if so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Could it be a hardware issue, or is there something else I might be overlooking?

Since you’ve tried the usual stuff like different ports, devices, and drivers, I’d check the power management settings in Device Manager—sometimes Windows turns off USB ports to save power. Also, resetting your BIOS to default can help if it’s a recognition issue.
If none of that works, it might be a hardware problem with your USB ports or motherboard. Running a system file check (sfc /scannow) could help too. If you’re still stuck, a tech might need to take a look.
